Hey Y'all!

Jeesh! The kids and I just got back from a little "vacation" to my hometown to visit family. I was thinking I'd do a post while there, but my mom's computer wouldn't let me log in to blogger! I was totally shut out. WTF? Anyway, I'm still here. I just made up my menu for the next week, and I've got lots of good stuff to make in the next week. I'm not cooking tonight since the pantry is bare and I just can't take the kids to the store. (They make me spend at least $20 more than I spend when I'm alone!) So, I'll be back with a good food post tomorrow. In the meantime, check this out. It's just a little something I "stumbled upon" thanks to g2thelow. One time, Rebecca mentioned that my blog was like food porn. Well, click that link above and you'll see the ultimate food porn. I'm talking XXX. It's not all veggie, but there are some kick-ass baked goods on there! The photos are really nice too.

Welcome back DM - I've been wondering where you've been. Is it Spring Break for your kiddo's? We're on Spring Break here!!

I made your mama's baked beans for Easter. They were a HUGE hit. Rob loved them, and he's not a bean fan. I didn't use the pineapple salsa though, they wanted $6 for it at my store. I used regular salsa and added in a can of crushed pineapple. Delish!!

Yep. It's spring break here too. I'm glad the beans were a hit. I'm going to see if the price of the pineapple salsa has gone up here. Adding a can of crushed pineapple would do the trick, though.

ZOMG! I just had to click that link when there's no food in the fridge! (We just got back, too!) Now I'm craving something green and fresh... and all I have are Cheez-its and some trail mix. Ha!!!

Thanks for the linkage, and the food pr0n. ;)

becky: I think a mixture of trail-mix and Chee-tos sounds pretty good, actually. Especially if the trail-mix has some chocolate chips in it.

money: g2thelow is one of mine and Sleek's best friends. Cool, huh?

That Stumble Upon is a cool site. Thanks for the link.

OK, Sleek wouldn't happen to work for a magazine here in morgantown?

OK, I just checked out Sleeks page, and I am pretty sure I know you. Sorta. I seem to run into you guys at Krogers and once at Barnes and Noble. Plus I was at your appartment a long time ago, just after your first child was born

Hi, Travis! Isn't that weird? One of the things I love about blogging. Crazy shit like this happens.
